Resu’s proprietary billet aluminum dovetail mount means you can position the buttons to be directly under your fingertips. Simply loosen your steering wheel’s bolts, slide the Resu Steering Wheel Audio Remote to the perfect position, and tighten your wheel back down. It’s that easy!
How it Works
The core of the hands free Steering Wheel Audio Remote is the Bluetooth media controller that allows you to adjust volume, play, pause, and skip songs. This unit is battery-powered, making the entire unit wireless! The remote connects to your phone and sends multimedia control signals to the device via Bluetooth. In essence, it’s the same as pressing the “Skip” button (or any of the media controls) on your phone, just using wireless buttons!
All you need to do is pair it with the device playing the music - For example, if you’re running Spotify on your phone, and then streaming that (Via Bluetooth or Cable) to your head unit, you’d pair the media controller to your phone
These buttons are then mounted behind your wheel using the dovetail mounting system

This means you can easily find the button you need, even on a pitch black country road!

CarPlay & Android Auto both don’t allow the phone any control over the volume. As a result, the remote also has no control over the volume - though all other controls still work.
In some cases, you are able to pair the remote directly to the head unit and control the volume from there, but we’ve found this to be inconsistent and don’t expressly support it.
